This is Qadr – The Alien Futafied

Aliens, Chaia Island have seen its share of the strange and exotic. This time it gotten slightly more extraterrestrial with a visitor from Planet VaM in search for companionship.

As part of an advanced race, these aliens traverse the galaxy in hopes of inheriting some of the genes of the most advance races of the planet they visit.

Would you be willing to make first contact to help humanity advance to the next stage of evolution?

All in glorious 8K

Context

I honestly thought this would be easy,  converting Qadr to a Futa Version was really challenging for 2 reasons.

  • New Workflow
  • Clothing Conversion

Workflow:

Substance painter is a really interesting tool, it's like the gift that keeps on giving in term of quality texturing and flexibility. BUT, with the wrong setup, it can be a very frustrating tool to work with.

So to make this Futa conversion texture "Will spare you other details", I had to basically create my own UDIM's, this was really frustrating experience as I will not be lying in that regard. With creating my own UDIM's, this means I had to create 2 versions. One with the morphs applied, the other without them so I can setup a Futa Base for future Futa conversion.

So basically, this prompted me to build a foundation for future creations, when I just went it in to just do a simple texture conversion. Also, learning the workflow is interesting. Had to make sure to lockdown the maps creation as well, as with substance comes the ability to bake textures, thus why I need specific UDIM's for morph conversions etc. Honestly a huge time-sink, but I'm really happy with the maps, I feel like they are better then the female version (My humble personal opinion 😁)

Clothing Conversion:

This shit, fuck this............. If some of you are interested, please comment and I could share with you a WIP of my agony and frustration on making the clothing fit the limbs. Remember, for VaM or as far as VaM is concerned, currently the shape for male figure in fornt of it is basically looking like default Male Shape. Now convince VaM clothing wrapping that there are deformed morphs coming from a female figure. Oh boy, the horrors I have seen lol.

Honestly, clothing conversion was something along the lines of "Redo it" thus the shape is slightly different as you could see in the screenshot, I have 2 models Female version "Using Yarah Base" and the the Futa Version of Qadr. The clothing is different, but I capitalized on that by creating a better texture as I also had to learn texturing clothing on Substance too.

Trivia - Qadr futa is rocking my new male gens morph conveniently named Qadr this time...

I hope you enjoy this one, now I really want to focus on finishing the Map Build. You guys will be shocked at how much details are going to be in the environment. Oh yeah, I'm also working on a Draenei & Blood Elf looks, had to start again from scratch as I learned so much from Substance painter the past weeks, also if interested, I Could post some WIP for both.

Notes:
-Troubleshooting - You need 1.19 Beta Opt In to access the AddonPackage.
-Ears Troubleshooting - Attach the CUA onto the "Head" not the " HeadControl" Then Link it.
-CUA Physics Troubleshooting - To keep the CUA locked and attached without wobbling at the root from your figure, you have to go to Physics Object under CUA then Make (Drag + Angular Drag) to 0, afterwords tick off Gravity and then Tick on Physics. Once done, go to Physics Control and on the top you'll find Hold Rotation/Position spring, make them both 1.000.000 by hitting the x10 button twice then dragging the slider all the way.
-CUA Troubleshooting - Plugin - After selecting from the Asset Package (AlienEars) Load NoStage3 plugin "UnityAssitVamifier" and use the following settings.  Image

I place the "TheOriginalBatatis.Qadr_Futa_(Look).1.var" in AddonPackages and I can't find her look? I search for it in scenes but it doesn't show.

TheOriginalBatatis

When you place the Package "TheOriginalBatatis.Qadr_Futa_(Look).1.var" in the designated "VAM\AddonPackages" folder. It should show up when you "Restart VaM" or by clicking "Rescan Packages" under "Package Manager", this depends if you placed the packed before or after running VaM. If before, then ignore the "Reload Package" section. Assuming you placed the package in the right folder as mentioned above, the default scene should be accessible for you now, all what you need to do is: 1- Click - Load Scene 2- Navigate Var "Package" Directory - This should be a side panel on the left once clicking "Load Scene". 3- If you have downloaded many scenes, just keep scrolling until you find "TheOriginalBatatis.Qadr_Futa_(Look) Package. - Click it and a scene inside it should be accessible now for you. You could load her up to directly by clicking on a Player Atom > Navigate to package TheOriginalBatatis.Qadr_Futa_(Look) > Click on the stored look. This however will not load the assets, as you would require to load them manually "Ears". To note: This will only work if you have VaM 1.19 Beta Opt-in and above. I hope this helps.
