That backstory took at least 5 minutes and 1 minute went by in the anime😂

Just in case you didn't know, androids like 17 and 18 are not fully robotic machines, they are cyborgs. They were once human and were turned into androids by Dr. Gero. In other words, they are considered living beings and can be resurrected with the Dragon Balls. On the other hand, Android 16 was fully mechanical and never got wished back by any of the wishes to revive the people.

Which is actually weird to me. Even if A16 is not included in living beings brought back by mass revival wishes, even the regular dragon balls should 100% be able to be wish him back with "restore A16 to how he was before being destroyed by Cell" or something. They just never made the wish.
