That wisdom Roshi gave the boys during his Kamehameha is a call back to the wisdom he gave to the boys back in OG Dragonball when he first started training them the turtle hermit style. Mind you that was back in the mid 80's, 30 plus years ago.

W Roshi. Roshi was absolutely sick this episode, and his dialogue was so profound. The absolute respect shown when Beerus asked Krillin what his name was at the end, even Beerus who rarely shows interest in anyone else was that moved by Roshi's words and actions. I wish he had always written like this and less like the "perverted old man" trope.
