You literally won't miss a single thing watching One Pace. It isn't a "shortened" or "abridged" version of the story, it's the most accurate one. The actual anime adds insane amounts of filler and destroys the pacing of the series. There's a few good things the anime adds, which is why I typically recommend people hold off on using One Pace until around halfway through the series. But trying to watch One Piece after timeskip without One Pace is madness. We're talking two or three panels on a page being stretched into five minutes kind of madness. That said, it's almost impossible that Jack will switch to One Pace purely because it requires everyone who wants to watch his full reactions to also download the One Pace episodes, which requires the knowledge and ability to torrent. So unfortunately, that won't be happening. I do really hope that Jack considers moving to watching three episodes after timeskip though, because episodes only get shorter and more dragged out every single arc after timeskip.

That is terrible advice. Especially for a first time viewer. The original anime is perfectly fine. One pace, on the other hand, is a bad fan edit I would never trust.
