The further on you get in the series, the longer the recaps, reaction shots and drawn out fights get. It might be worth it to change to "One Pace" around episode 500 as some of the arcs get really bogged down after that. The anime caught up with the manga so they had to cram a lot of filler into the episodes making it almost unwatchable. One pace aims to fix the phasing, cutting out a lot of bloat and creating a more streamlined viewer experience.

It is never a good idea to use one pace. I would never advocate the use of a fan edit to decide what is and isn't ok to keep. They can and do easily butcher the series. I would never especially want a first time reactor to ruin their first experience with the series. I would ask Jack to please never even entertain the idea.

btw the cape on Chopper was a little reference to the "Chopperman" Filler episodes :) luffy's character in that is called Luffy Bomber, so they did a little nod to that when Oars called himself Oars Bomber

100% disagree. Dresrosa was the thing that killed one piece anime for me. Getting 3 frames from the manga over 24 minutes of video is a slog that ruined an otherwise cool story.

I mean, you wouldn't have to skip around if you just watch the One Pace edit. Not that I am casting my vote for the edit or anything, I have not seen it. I see the appeal tho, I can agree with OP that the garbage pacing did ruin parts of many arcs after timeskip when you watch week to week, even the current arc. I doubt Jack would ever switch to that tho (it's risky as a business move and Jack seems like a completionist type watcher) so it's a moot point.
