Grammeland

I was going through anilist and just noticed that today was demon slayer world tour in los angeles and in less that 2 weeks the first half of the last part of the final season of attack on titan begins!

I don't know if people have told you this, but remember when they said Vegeta had a brother? Cabba is how he pretty much acted like(And kind of looked like too), though he was even LESS of a warrior than he was. Tarble was just prototype Cabba, tbh. ...He also had a wife. Who even knows if Tarble is still canon..

Yea the smart thing they should’ve done is call the red form “Saiyan god” and blue “super Saiyan god”, it would be a lot better

Fortune Lekoto

It's funny you call Cabba by the nickname Deku type B because his voice actor also voices Bakugo in MHA English dubb

Fortune Lekoto

oh yeah, Jack, I don't know if you have been informed but the Dragon Ball Super anime came first before the manga, Basically in 2015 right after the success of DBZ Resurrection F, Toei Animation decided to bring back DragonBall, and after asking the creator of Dragonball, Akira Toriyama for his blessings, they released the DBS anime in 2015 after just 2 months of production, which was unusually short since production for anime usually takes 6-12 months before release, which is why the first 2 arcs looked like crap in the anime. Since Akira Toriyama did not want to draw the manga but instead he still wanted to write the story and design the characters, he chose a successor, Toyotarou to draw the manga for him. So because of all this, Toriyama decided to give both Toyotarou and Toei Animation the main plot points for each arc, so that both could each have their own takes on it, and since the new Dragonball Super manga was now a monthly release instead of being a weekly release like the original 1989 DragonBall manga by Toriyama, this led to the anime being way ahead of the manga, as in like by the time the current arc you are watching was done airing in the anime, in the manga it was halfway through, and after this, the gap kept widening, which also explains why the manga and anime share the same major plot points, but the way they go about is as different as night and day, so instead of the anime being inspired by the manga it was the other way around. So when the anime originally ended in 2018, Toei Animation stopped releasing DBS episodes in order to allow Toyotarou to push the manga, and ever since, it's been 4 years since the anime aired. I'm just giving you this info in case you decide to pick up the DBS manga so that you don't get shocked as to why the arcs are so different in the manga as compared to the anime.

People used to say ssjgss, aka Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan but that term kinda went away, and now its just super Saiyan blue. Just how Mystic and Ultimate used to be called with Gohan.

The fact that Cabba could keep up as well as he did against base Vegeta and in Super Saiyan (once Cabba got it himself) actually shows that he's incredibly strong by Saiyan standards. Goku and Vegeta have been pushed by several super strong enemies like Frieza, Cell, Buu, etc. and have specifically been focusing on strengthening their base forms since Battle of Gods, but Vegeta said they were about evenly matched in that beam struggle. It's just that literally no Saiyans (or no living ones at least) in Cabba's universe have accessed Super Saiyan before. Cabba's not necessarily the strongest Saiyan in Universe 6, but he's definitely powerful enough to warrant being recruited for this tournament.

Chrysanthemum

This is all just a guess but it seems as if the Saiyans from Universe 6 have the high potential that the Half- Saiyans from Earth do. There's definitely some deeper connection to be made there, just not sure what it'll end up being. Great explanation above 👍

Chrysanthemum

A few episodes back you were wondering if Frost being good and Frieza being evil made the difference between the Saiyans of Universe 6 and 7. You now have an understanding of the connections from Cabba and Vegeta's talks to understand the backstory of the Saiyans a bit better. Planet Sadala (Salad) was the original planet of Saiyans from both Universes. You mentioned in those episodes that Frieza being evil is what turned the Saiyans evil. In actuality the Saiyans from Universe 7 already were planet conquerors because they lost Sadala. That led Saiyans of U7 to take over a new planet, Planet Vegeta (Vegetable,) then the Frieza Force subjugated them with overwhelming power to profit from their conquering culture.

Did you know that the creator of Dragon Ball doesn't like the tails on the Saiyans?

Fortune Lekoto

well, it's more accurate to say Akira Toriyama does not like to draw the tails since they take too long, it's the same issue with Cell, Toriyama does not like drawing Cell since it takes too long to draw each individual spot

Blake_Hero27

Wish they had put Cabba and Frost in Dragon Ball Fighterz, I've got really addicted to that game lol hope you play it at some point
