I just watched this and I think you’re right Jack. When you’re trying to lure Mitsuki and Boruto away from the exams, at least make it a threat and a real fight, not as easy as Mitsuki extending his hands and Boruto throwing a paper bomb. That was meaningless. But since the fight was good, the episode can get a pass. Definitely better than the last one lol

So intense! I loved it. I do think part of the whole Amado thing was possibly to show that Hima is actually seriously considering becoming a shinobi, too. Like a hint. The manga isn't fleshing out ANY of this character development stuff for anyone but Boruto and Kawaki, so little hints and stuff like that are refreshing.

The Sarada / Cho Cho was what the Ino / Sakura fight should’ve been. We’ve seen their friendship since the beginning of the show up until now so it resonates more. Also, the producers of the show have to be on Twitter because they literally gifted us with Kawaki & Shinki interactions that fans have always wanted lol

This was one hell of a fight tbh I was expecting a good match based purely on Sarada but in the end I half found myself kinda rooting for Cho cho too considering how she acted and her development here. that being said...LETSGOOO SARADA IS A CHUNIN BABY

only in this eisode lets be real... XDD like the past ChoCho focused episodes were boring/lazy! this is THE ChoCho I wanted to see more of then her talking about diet and beauty all the time.. her eating chips is fine beacuse Choji and that's their "habit".

Best chunin exam fight in Boruto (not includeing the OG Chunin Exam beacuse it was longer and Gaara VS Rock Lee always stays the best match!) beacuse before this the Boruto&Sarada VS Shinki fight was my favorite even though Boruto cheated in the match! and yes Jack you right the whole reason why we had this B plotline with these random people to not have a Boruto VS Mitsuki fight and I had a feeling that's where they gonna go with it and when you read this then you know already... plus how the hell Amado got kidnapped THAT easily in the first place? XDD Shouldn't Naruto had security for this man beacuse he said he doesn't trust Amado and of course we need his knowledge about ninja tools and everything beacuse he's our "main" support character next to Katasuke. That's why this whole background stuff felt like "filler" to me.

absolutely loved this episode, especially the chidori vs. butterfly mode moment. also LOVED the interaction we got from Kawaki and Shinki. Interesting how during her fight Sarada thought about Boruto - really awesome transition from the shot of a happy Boruto to the black and white shot of Borushiki.

I'm just glad Sarada won. I was afraid at the beginning they were trying to get us to want Cho Cho to win and that's definitely not what I wanted to happen. Sarada I think is the best in the class and also the most deserving

I'm never gonna get over the fact that Kawaki was going to watch the Sarada/ChoCho fight anyways but Shinki staring at him made him feel weird so he left only for Shinki to slap him around to make sure he stayed to watch.... lmao like he was already going to Shinki relax 😂

I hope Chocho keeps developing in the way she is portrayed here. She may have lost but she put up a decent fight especially keeping up somewhat with the Sharingan in taijutsu.

That B plot is random indeed. Like how do they even know about Amado? He was in hiding with Kara all the time. He wasn't some world-renown scientist.
