There are actually two versions of this OP - the first one didn't have as much detail on the different forms, they were more of just silhouettes. About halfway through this arc, more detail was added so you could tell what each form/person was.

Surprisingly the anime here did a better job at showing the impact that losing Kurama had on Naruto even as little as it was here, still feel like there should've been more but it's understandable that they wouldn't just tell everyone that the hokage has had a considerable power loss.

I'm glad you didn't watched episode 220 right after ep 219 beacuse it's a very sad episode was well (not as much like 218 that we had) but still emotional episode!

i'm sorry but Jack looked so f-ing done with everything in the first half fo the episode, esp while he finally watched the opening😭😭 (totally get it tho)....it wasn't till Code and his White Karma that sheer exasperation made him focus haha. Btw Jack, the anime cut out a panel that many manga readers were eagerly waiting to see animated. i'd recommend u check it out - its chapter 55 of the manga. For now, we'll prob have anime canon for a while as stuff past chapter 55/56 deals with the current manga arc (the anime caught up quick!)

i feel like kishimoto wanted to somehow make naruto & sasuke less powerful/op to give the new generation a chance to surpass them, he did that by taking away their strongest sources of power each, Kurama and the rinnegan. Sadge but makes sense if u look at it thay way ig😭

Also this only thing i didn't like about this was that kurama got no recognition for his sacrifice at all. Not even a small funeral. Nobody even cared except for Naruto-

I feel like they don’t want to broadcast that. It might make the people scared that Naruto isn’t powerful enough to protect them anymore and also open the door to enemies trying to take him out. It’s in the same vein as changing Naruto’s last name and the fact that the village doesn’t know what Itachi actually did for the village
