I know that Sarada was just trying to make Kawaki understand why Naruto is so nice to him, but she really said Sasuke who, I wish Naruto was my dad 😭😭. *Also, a heads up that episodes 209-211 are anime canon with few manga canon scenes, the most important being the last scene in 211!! Shikamaru's job is to protect the village. He doesn't have the information that we have, so his actions are completely logical. Shikamaru is almost in a Donzo like role in Boruto, he has to make the difficult decisions and is willing to do things that Naruto wouldn't want to happen.

Shikamaru is basically a more likable and less evil Danzo. I get why some people got annoyed with him but he’s just doing what he feels is right from his POV. It’s not like he’s watched all those episodes with us lol

With all the info in this episode you forgot a small but important detail, we learned Jigen will go to the village BUT after he recovers, Amado said it would take 10 days for him to fully recover and Jigen even said with Naruto and Sasuke out of the picture there's no rush to go retrieve Kawaki+Boruto since no one can oppose them.

I'm pretty sure Sarada was referring to that time she went looking to find her dad and meet him for the first time. She said she USED to wish naruto was her dad. Before she met sasuke, she spent alot of time with naruto and saw how great of a hokage he was, plus she herself wants to be a hokage like him so it definitely makes sense to me that back then she wish naruto was her dad.

Jigen won't be going back to the village for 2 reason. 1st - he teleports directly to Kawaki, so will go where ever Kawaki is. 2nd - they stated it will take 10 days for Jigen to recover, so he won't make a move until then
