I love that Naruto’s first big fight back was a female antagonist from the big bad group. It’s also someone who’s clearly bad and can’t be Talk No Jutsu’d lmao. Also Naruto has never gone full out in Boruto. He’s holding back with Delta since they are still in the village. She’s strong and can hold her own but like Kawaki said, he’s stronger.

In case you were wondering why he's struggling with her, he can't go all out because she's absorbing jutsu and because they're in the village still and his kids are around so he's holding back a lot, and still stronger than her while holding back

Kawaki’s face when Naruto’s like sorry Kawaki is our guest 🥺🥺. I was excited to see what Delta could do but then could not believe how cheap she was so as to attack the children. Very awesome Kawaki development since he was willing to lose a whole arm to protect the Uzumakis. All in all great episode and almost makes you forgot how unbelievably powered down Naruto was 😑😒 (for plot reasons).

I know he is holding back and all but it's still so annoying to see him getting in a fight like that. My dude didn't even use shadow clones like bruh I know it's borutos show now and all but REPRESENT! Still, I'll allow it since it's giving development opportunities to kawaki who is now my favorite character lol

Naruto's been waiting to get his hands on intel for Kara for so long, so going all out and killing Delta won't satisfy him that much. He instead prefers to play smart to gather Intel to be better prepared for the rest of Kara since he can tell she is weaker than him 😃

this fight still bothers me, Naruto should not be having issues like this against Delta. People say he's holding back and even the show states this,but it's taken waaaay too far. He shouldn't still be "holding back" when himawari has her life on the line, the second Delta touched Hima Naruto should have popped a thousand shadow clones. and maybe have a few clones just pick up the kids and run away with them, keeping in mind at 16 his shadow clones were going toe to toe with kage.

I don’t know why everyone thinks Naruto is getting dogged here. Other than letting Delta get Himawari, which was pure plot stupidity for Kawaki’s development, he was destroying her. She had barely done any damage and Naruto was still at full chakra. Whereas she had been blown back multiple times and taken quite a bit of damage, as well as used a ton of chakra by spamming her beams. And he’s trying to keep her alive, while she is fully bloodlusted.

Yup that was a weird fight, i know at the beginning Naruto tried to look weak just to get some intel from her but even when he got ''serious'' he didn't really do that much :/

I didn't know shadow clones and normal attacks destroyed the village lol. I'm not saying he needed to go full kyubi mode and I know he is after Intel. He just could have done better and fight her properly when he realized she wasn't giving any info

The Naruto Vs Delta fight remains one of the most disappointing adapted episodes. I know they saved the budget for upcoming episodes, but this fight and another upcoming fight really suffered because of the poor art, animation and choreography.

I am unhappy with this outcome. There could be another more logical way to get Kawaki to lose his arm and get intelligence from the Delta. Naruto had to rescue Hima with the same speed as he chopped off Kaguya's arm and caught up with the train with Byakuya Gang's boss. And someone will say he is not nerfed? look at these moments twice and you will understand what I'm talking about. No negativity.

Well the writers wont make everyone happy. Like it or not, it all personal preference I myself had no big problem with this fight I do feel that this fight and next big fight are almost too short. they were a little underwhelming but not horrible. Im also pretty sure he was trying to take her alive so going "all-out" is not something he could do.

I didn't have too much of a problem with this fight. When the enemy absorbs all jutsu, the rules change and Naruto doesn't have as many tricks he can use. Add that to fighting inside the village, and Naruto trying not to kill Delta so they can get intel, and his kids right there: he can't use full power, not enough room. And it's Boruto's fault Himawari was taken. Naruto told the kids to get out of the way so he COULD use more power.

People hate this fight lol. I actually find it really impressive how well he did while holding back so much 😂 it was a little reckless with the kids right there but I still think it's more impressive than disappointing. An inner of Kara with a body made of scientific ninja tools and he can afford to go so light while still keeping up with her.

It isnt illustrated super well, but Naruto isnt going super crazy because they ARE in the village and the collateral damage would be pretty bad

It's a fault of the level of animation actually which wasn't able to convey things properly. Delta's laser is supposed to be lightspeed which Naruto could dodge and was able to throughout the whole fight, but he's not as fast as to dodge it after going in the distance of where Hima is. It was just portrayed less intensely and slowing down the momentum to add a dramatic effect didn't help either. But Kawaki and Naruto both jumped around the same time and so was Delta's laser beamed around the same time, thus Kawaki sacrificed his arm, that was the takeaway.

It seemed to be going over your head, the perspective that Naruto was holding back trying to gather intel and was still had the upper hand, and was pissing Delta off. I study phycology and a while back I noticed this thing that happens with us as people, where things literally go over our heads so much. So I notice it like crazy now. An example being when someone tells a joke, and you don't really get it that much but still give a little chuckle, then when you really get it maybe a few seconds later you give a genuine laugh. We do stuff like that probably a dozen times a day. So, moral of the story...... The show is basically saying Delta's not really that much of a match for him to be that worried lol.

Did it really deserve it? Not really. It’s Delta. She’s not important. We’ve already seen Naruto fight multiple times. There were bits of significance to this fight but they definitely did not need to go all out for it and they were right to our more TIME into the later episodes. It’s not budget. It’s TIME. They choose how much time and resources they want to allocate for which fights and episodes. This Delta fight was no where near as important as the later fights. Pierrot does not have a budget problem so idk why y’all always go to “saving budget” it’s not always about that. Time is literally the biggest factor

I’m sorry but the next upcoming fight is not short. It was actually much longer than it was in the manga. This fight was unnecessarily dragged out. You’re backwards. The next fight was no where near underwhelming either. Idk what you mean by that
