I think this is probably the worst episode of the anime, along with that badly animated part of the fight vs Urashiki, hopefully it stays that way cause so far it's all been uphill

you should consider Anko is enjoying her retirement from missions and she isn't in shape anymore, no urgency 'cause peace and no clan duty/high responsability or big dreams to bound her on the shinoby lifestyle either like for example the kage/sannin or clan elders. She probably underestimated the bandits because they weren't shinobi and didn't expected a ninja tools since they aren't that common yet. While would be cooler if she kept training, speaking in term of a person living her own life and not as a fictional character, while getting older isn't strange to retire either and become rusty.

Agreed! Worst part of Boruto has got to be how nerfed they make everyone, in shippuden the same people wouldn’t even break a sweat. I can’t believe how weak they made Naruto and Sasuke I feel like they are way past their prime but even if they are they still wouldn’t be this bad. And it’s not just them Anko too as you said and a few others.

Yea figured you wouldnt like this one, it definitely my least favorite. I think they did wrong by Anko even if she's older and retired she was so much more badass in shippuden. I have a theory as to why Naruto and Sasuke seem weak but it woulkd give to much away :P

Im so aggravated that Cho Cho cant even do a basic lightning style, lack of motivation or not why does she only train with Choji. Cmon Electric human boulder!! lol
