Mikazuki ❤️ I think they were hinting that the cat is a reincarnation of his sister but yeah the episode gets really sad and depressing quick. Dude is just left comatose after trying to repent on being (what he feels) is a bad brother 😩😢

I think they are hinting the cat being his sister in another life. Thought about it after how affectionate he was plus this was one of the current Boruto directors first episodes

This has always been a very memorable episode. As predictable as a bunch of aspects about it are, they managed to tell it in a way that still gets you. And... you understand. You might not agree with the chosen path, but you understand. Also, it's a very good exmaple showcasing how Mitsuki has grown as a person by this point; not only towards his team but as a human being and Shinobi of Konoha too.
