Now we're entering my favorite part of the arc! This middle section was kinda slow (not bad, just slow), but every episode from here onward is 🔥

Heh. The conflict of "I kinda feel bad for him but he's still wrong" is very much tied to Onoki in this arc. You can see how grief and guilt started to twist good intentions, with him just falling ever deeper into this mess; in a "I've gotten this far, people have died, I can't possibly turn back now. I have to see this through, this is the ONLY way forward" mentality. Truly a fallen hero at this point. Meanwhile, the fabrications are starting to have their own interpretations of how to achieve that peace that Onoki wants; twisting his twisted will even more along the way. Though it's easy to feel bad for them too; some more than others. They didn't ask to be made or to be put in this role of having to protect the humans, they didn't ask to be kept secret and away from them to just live in hiding amongst each other and try to learn as much as they could from a distance by picking up things that once belonged to humans. They exist now and they want to live and just be alive. And fulfil the one reason for their existence that has been given to them since they are not fully acknowledged as people by those who made them. Who knows what they would have been like if they had been given the chance to be around other humans and learn from them. Similar yet different from how Mitsuki learned. They too are slipping onto this dark path real fast but it's not completely their fault either. It's a messy situation and there's no single cause to point your finger on and go "You! This is your fault!" Well...perhaps the scientist who brought the Zetsu sample. (Also: glad you managed to fix your rendering problems :D)
