Orochimaru only said if they get close to finding what Mitsuki is that it would self destruct so even tho they are examining the heart they must not know exactly what it is so its doesnt trigger the curse mark

There are two aspects of this episode that I always enjoyed, heh. One of which is Sekki. I've wanted to see more of him - and his team - since the Chunin exams, so I appreciated that he was brought back in this arc and given some character development. He's a mess alright, but given time and the right motivation I can see him becoming a fine shinobi. A lot of the OG cast had to find their way over time as well, after all, and he fits right in. :D The other aspect that always stood out to me is Onokis flashback; about how one might abandon their will if they come up against barriers. He seems to have really taken that advice to heart, seeing as he passed it on to Mitsuki back in episode 71, talking about how if you cling to it no matter what barriers you come up against, it is probably truly your own will. A good concept, though it does unfortunately mean that he's currently sticking to his own, twisted will and not relenting. Though good or bad, it's still a matter of perspective and he sees himself in the right. So it makes sense. Also, until I saw the shot of Mitsuki and Ku next to each other in this episode I actually forgot just how small Ku actually is. XD
