[Reposted and edited for clarity because I'm a derp and somehow copy-pasted by whole text twice in trying to fix a typo.] I find Onoki to be very interesting in this arc, because he makes for a well written villain. Someone who 'is' good in his core and who wants to 'do the right thing', but who is blinded by [spoiler] and lost sight of what is actually happening in his name - and what that means. He believes in his justice; that he's doing the right thing and is so focused on that that he can't see the bigger picture anymore and doesn't realise his own mistakes right now. That's usually how these things go. A change in perspective is how former enemies become allies - and former allies become enemies. It doesn't mean that they can't flip sides once more, once perspective chances yet again, but that's how conflicting opinions go. Seeing Inojin interact with Akkun here is sweet. He's ready to protect it the second he expects danger; quite a difference from their first meeting for sure. =D And the concept of Mitsuki being a vessel like Ku isn't a new thing for him. Even when we saw Log for the first time he explained to him how their shared name Mitsuki came from the signs for 'Snake' [Mi / 巳] and an old form for 'Vessel' [Tsuki / 杯] and how they were both (supposedly) vessels of Orochimarus greed. - Even if that proved to be a farce by Orochimaru and Log, there is still a line from the earlier episodes that got repeated often; Orochimaru wanting Mitsuki to do what he could not. At the end of the day, he is still fulfilling something that Orochimaru wanted from him; even if he's doing it out of his own choice. Mitsuki changed the spelling of his name after escaping from that test that was set up for him by Orochimaru and Log and seeing Borutos picture in the paperwork he got from that case he took away; from 巳杯 to 巳月; Mitsuki to Mitsuki, in which the second sign [月] means 'Moon'. But I doubt he has forgotten the name that was given to him originally. IN ANY CASE: It's a lot of fun to hear your thoughts on these characters and seeing a different perspective on everyone's actions based on your observations. =D

Gotta say I'm really liking these synthetic human characters
