I love the duality of the title of this episode; as it could refer to either Sekiei or Boruto; the friend Mitsuki gained or the friend he had. The entire conversation between Sekiei and Mitsuki in this episode is also very sad; both don't know too much about the world or what it means to be human and try to understand and share what they learned. Sekiei has this young innocence too him, but likewise he's willing to put his life on the line for the sake of their mission and is ready to kill for it. It's a fascinating contrast between knowing about the world and not knowing about the world. Though the bit about this episode that got me the most has to be how Mitsuki describes Boruto as per Sekiei's...er..."request". He starts with simple observations, but because he now has to think about Boruto to talk about him, more and more of his emotions bleed through as he keeps going to the point where he isn't even exactly telling Sekiei anymore and just voices his feelings - and fears that they may not truly real. Especially given that he slipped and still called Boruto his sun despite saying just moments before that he 'was' his sun is telling. In Sekiei, he has found for the first time someone who sort of understands his perspective; even Boruto and Sarada came to the conclusion a few episodes that they never really listened to him; to the meaning behind his words. And he probably had to be careful around them, as to not reveal too much, so here, for once, he can be honest. Threatened to do it or not. Also: Well done on calling out what will be thier secret to make them friends imediately :D
