He got that mark from defeated a god.. if you remember on the first ep when he fights against kawaki that mark is all over his hand up to his face. thats all i can say because other than that spoiler 😂

The reason why intros have so much spoilers is because a lot of people, especially in Japan, have already read the manga. The openings are then kinda like a preview to what manga content is going to be covered in that arc

Okay so, if you go back to EP 65 at the time (21:34), and look at his hand..it's very faint..but you could see that mark he received for "killing" Momoshiki Otsutsuki. It's basically like a curse for defeating a 'God' and also going back to Momoshiki's prophecy of him saying to Boruto how he has inherited the power of the Otsutsuki very well and etc etc, so try to make connections I suppose😆

He got that mark after he killed momoshiki, he had that same mark on him in the flashforward scene in the first episode. Think of it as a type of curse mark.

Ok so glib is an actual word that is basically means slick but also insincere. I know because I googled it after seeing this episode the first time Also the reason this episode feels more like a beginning is because its also how the Boruto movie ended, which was released before episode 1 of the Boruto anime

I remember being frustrated for so long with Boruto as a character until this arc, I almost quit watching a couple of times but I'm glad I stuck it out. Watching the different generations interact and learn from each other is just one of the many things I love about this series.
