I've seen a lot of these same scenes and episodes from my own watchthroughs and watching reactions, and I still get choked up man.

I haven't even watched the reaction yet, about to...but yes. This...episode. Just greed gets me every time. Hoenheim? I can't even *LISTEN* to that final scene without turning into a mess. Especially ever since I lost my own father. This will forever be the 2nd saddest death in all of anime for me.

Easily one of the most emotional endings. Its really interesting how the writers decided to write all the most emotional parts for the second to last episode. It really allows you to just enjoy the series finale and the characters that made this series so great

Reyna Bates Jr

You were right on the money when you said it wasn't fair. The picture of him in tears at the end is such a low blow lol. I think they enjoy punching us right in the feels

Prime Rebel

Al didn't sacrifice his arm. he sacrificed his armor body which gave ed his original arm back. That's why it looked like that... because it was with the truth for so long and why the nails had grown. Make sure to watch the credits in the last episode btw

This series has claimed so many of my tears over the years but its such a fulfilling ending my heart is so full on the last episode. <3

Orochimaru has a giant snake 😳

Jack will you watch the FMAB bloopers after the anime? It's very short, at least watch it yourself. Here it is: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g3aFPN2dEOA

RIP Mr. Ho! He truly was one of the best characters I have encountered in any anime. The dude was forced into an undying body, where the voices of the souls within him caused him incredibly guilt. He managed to keep pushing on until he met the love of his life and fathered 2 kids. He finally understood what it meant to be human again, and now had a reason to keep living until he found out what the Father had been planning. Only Hohenheim could have stopped him. He decided to save an entire country (including his family) instead of being there for his wife and his children. Then to find out his wife had passed and his children hate him for being a dead beat dad... ugh just reminds me so much of Itachi because he shouldered so much hate for an honorable reason.

Not only were their deaths ironic, but nearly every Homunculus expressed some sort of emotional human trait in death as well. Gluttony cried out for Lust as he was eaten by Pride. Envy died with the self realization that he has been jealous of humans all along. Wrath died with peace of mind. Greed died satisfied with the friends he had made to fill the emptiness he felt inside of him. Pride "died" with flashbacks of Bradley and his wife, almost realizing he had a family. Sloth and Lust are a bit of a stretch, but Lust died accepting the fact that she lost by the hands of a womanizer, and Sloth got put to an eternal rest where he would no longer have to work.
