Man Orochimaru was the legit first and best villain in Naruto, and to see him wield a sword 🗡 and all! This episode was fire u remember this

It’s funny how many people forget that Orochimaru trained Sasuke in kenjutsu, so it makes sense that he’s nasty with a sword

Best F’n Boy, Mitsuki! I enjoy how even within the show’s more peaceful timeline that their are still tragic and emotional stories like Mitsuki &amp; Sumire.

And that's why he's my favorite character, Sage Transformation was just a cherry on the top tho! I loved his whole character from the get go!

I understand why it wasn't explained in full in the subtitles, but I really like that extra depth they gave to Mitsuki changing the kanji/meaning of his name at the end there, from 巳杯 [Snake Vessel] to 巳月 [Snake Moon] showing that he's no longer binded to Orochimaru's will and is now his own person, choosing to illuminate the night and reflect Boruto's light onto the world's darkness.

Mitsuki and sumire are my favorite characters just because their back story and just the way their characters were made. They have so much potential in the future.

As Hokage Naruto and crew were smart to keep Orochimaru around and in a back pocket- takes a monster to fight a monster eh? What a fascinating parent though -simultaneously caring and lethal! It's one of the first times I'd ever seen such a "baddie character" continue in a storyline beyond their usual use to cause mayhem around them for everyone else to battle against. Naruto and Boruto do such great and unexpected things with their characters. And yes, Mitsuki is the one of my fave characters on the show!

Mitsuki is like Shikamaru, wants Boruto to succeed and motivates him to keep going. What Boruto does well that people don't notice is how they blend in similar topics and similar relationships as Naruto, but in their own unique way.
