Some fun facts: If you go back and rewatch the first opening, young Hohenheim is the very first character to appear in it. Insane foreshadowing. Also, young Hohenheim was voiced by Alphonse's original voice actor from the 2003 anime who could no longer play him after he hit puberty haha

They will clear up your Selim question. Also they will clear up your question about what Hohenheim was doing with his blood and those names. This anime to me is one of the very few that leave very little questions left when it ends. So just enjoy :)

I think that you're forgetting the homunculi originated from their Father. He created all of them, including Pride. As for the similarities between the two, you'll have to watch and find out for yourself :)

Remember all the homunculi were created by the father so all pride meant was that he was the first to created by the father as for why they look alike... who knows 😏
