Yeah, I'd say to watch ep 27 on your own time as it's 90% recap but framed in an interesting enough way that makes the recap actually bearable.

I would say skip it. Also I don’t know why but gluttony reminds me of Winny The Pooh lol I think it’s the voice and the way he talks.

Definitely react to the next episode. It is technically a recap, but with sprinkles of new stuff added in. If I may make a suggestion though, double dropping would be much appreciated so we can get an episode that progresses the story.

Another one of my favorite episodes. Lots of new info dropped this week! The citizens of Xerxes sacrificed to make a giant philosopher stone and, King Bradley's backstory on becoming a unique, human-based homunculus, and lastly Al's physical body is still stuck in the portal but can only leave with its own soul. Awesome reaction as always Jack! It's only going to get better from here!

I'd prefer the double drop since that one is kind of slower, but it is still important in a sense. Definitely don't skip it

I’d say you can get away with watching episode 27 on your own, it is recap but there are good character moments in it, nothing major story wise but it’s worth a watch imo

When Ed punches the door open again to give Al's body that message, I always get goose bumps. It's not some huge epic fight or anything but I just think it's neat.

In 27, you get a good look at Hohenheim's character. It's honestly a captivating episode

In this episode, Ed learns another valuable lesson in Alchemy. He CAN perform human transmutation, on someone who is alive, AKA himself. Also I love how he treats the "leftover" souls. He sees them as human, and I don't think it's only because of his brother. I think it's because that's just who he is. He seeks to find the truth and restore his and his brother's bodies without sacrifice, because he believes there must be a way, somewhere out there.
