Hey all! Since it is Sunday and there is no new episode, I figured now that we are ending this arc, it would be a good time to do our second official "Character of the Arc"! I choosed Asuma because he was the biggest impact for Shikamarus development. Naruto because he created a new Jutsu that belongs to him

This arc was primarily centered around developing Shikamaru as a character. From this point on in the show he becomes somewhat more significant as a character, so I think this arc was intended to flesh out his character so that he could play a more important role in the future.

I think biggest impact and character development should be two separate things because if we’re being honest Hidan had the biggest impact of the arc because him killing Asuka set up for Shikamaru to get all of his wonderful character development. So imma just vote for both
