Hey all - happy Monday! There will be a new video tomorrow, but for now I'd like to start a new tradition. As we are supposedly coming close to the end of the second arc of Shippuden, I'd like to do a 'character of the arc' each time we almost have one completed to kind of gauge everyone's thoughts surrounding how each went! Take into account character development, decisions made by the characters, motives, impact, etc.

I hope you all have an enjoyable start to the week and I will catch you tomorrow morning with a brand new episode! ❤️⭐

Sasuke is the character of the arc .. it was all going around him

I just voted for everyone :/

Side note: I only didn’t include Sasuke solely because he has only just now been introduced back into the story. I wanted to shed a little bit more light on those that we have gotten to see grow a lot more!

I would have to disagree. Don't get me wrong. I love Sasuke as a character and was super excited to see his grand re-introduction to this series happen in this arc. However, when you look past the "Sasuke is back!" hype, you might realise this arc really is not about him at all. Sure, their mission is to track down Orochimaru and Sasuke, but this arc is clearly much more about introducing Sai and Yamato as new characters to the series. That's why there is not much character development happening with any of the other characters, and why Sasuke only appears for a few short episodes at the very end of the arc. If this arc were about Sasuke, he would have been in it more and we would have seen him develop more as a character, as we will see later in the series. This arc very clearly has more of a focus on Sai and Yamato as the newcomers then it does on anyone else.
