ep 130 is where robin mentions looking for the "rio" poneglyph which literally just means real lol but she says "it" likes it's only 1 so I guessed oda decided later on it's 9 and not just 1

Still (slightly) annoyed by Road instead of Lode in the translations. Lodestones in real life point to magnetic north. The four Lode Poneglyphs "point" to Laugh Tale (<-- no, this is not a spoiler, just a long running Anglicization issue) in a more metaphorical way. Plus we're expected to "first learn about them" on an island called Lodestar. No one translates the island "Roadstar."

It is Road Poneglyphs and it is Lodestar, one doesn't exclude the other. Lodestar makes sense because every Log Pose will eventually allow you to travel to the island (log poses which are magnetic). Road Poneglyphs make sense because they show you the road to laugh tale (Road to Laugh Tale literally being a booklet series by Shonen Jump), they don't have anything to do with Lodestar apart that you can learn information about all types of poneglyphs there, and they have no connection to anything magnetic, nor tools/instruments like compass, etc. because they themselves don't point to anything they have to be linked to all fours in order to show the path, the way, the road.
