Design: [The Princess of Love] : Appolonia (Patreon)

Hello there,

Today, it's the day to describe our mascot, Appolonia! (pic1 by me)
Her story is completely different to other characters.
While Selendis has been created right at the beginning as the antagonist, and Aurora soon after as the "princess to save", Appolonia was created as a background character. She didn't even have a name at that time. She was just a random Commander who blindly followed her leader.

Since she didn't have much to do, she didn't have a strong personality at that time either. So her main qurick was to lisp. (pic 2 and 3)

When the time of the official colour scheme of the Magicorns came, Appolonia needed a change. (pic 4) It wasn't great, but after all, she was supposed to be just a background character.

Then, when it was time to recruit some people for the project, I made my circles pictures (pic 1). On this one, Appolonia's design has been completely improvised. She looked good!

Yet, her purple colours didn't work, especially since a name have been found for her. She needed something more "sunny". Lucky me, I tried to change Selendis'colours to something more green. People wanted to keep the blue version of Selendis, so the green was available for her. And here she was with the good ol'design we know her. (pic 5)

After that, somehow, one of you, twh, fell completely in love with the character, to the point of asking me regularly if I could do more stuff with her. Thanks to him, Appolonia has been considerably developed. (pic 6) From just a random background character she became an anti-hero. And got her own comics (pic 7 and 8 made by Freeedon).
