Hi there,

Update to say that I continue to design new OC dragons. But I asked opinion to some true chara-designers and my dragons still need work. I may need to redraw them. They aren't too many, so it's not a real problem.
However, the magicorns seem completly okay.

About that, I would like your opinion about the city of those magicorns. What do you imagine for them? It would be the counter part of Cloudsdale but for magic users. For now, I imagine they could be in a personal dimension lost in the void (kinda like some levels of Spyro the dragon). I also imagined many things but I can't find a solid link between all of them.

And you? What would you imagine for that?

How about the buildings, land are constructed like solid energy? Or plain buildings with energy streaks shown? (A combination of the plain metallic white surroundings seen inside Tipoca city from Star Wars with energy streaks here and there) No rain or other forms of weather as well since the Pegasi are not present here. After all, the place was created as a necessary refuge so no skyscrapers or anything like that due to limited resources.

As for building design. Maybe something similar to Arabian architecture. Buildings with lots of square corners with domes tops. Even though most building look square and utilitarian it makes up for it with intricate tile designs like a Mosque. But I don't expect you to draw to that detail of individual tiles. Since their society is mainly magical. Maybe you can incorporate Arabian myths (but ponified) since some of it delves into mysticism.

Well I was thinking since they are living in a void. It's kinda like living in a desert which is mostly barren of things except sand and stone. Their designs were mostly square with domes tops which were very utilitarian. Also their windows were smaller to keep most of the elements out like sand and wind. I'm not sure what's in this void space but i'm thinking it's not as hospitable as... ummm... non-void space? Anyways just putting ideas out there. Another idea would be just crazy curvy architecture cause it's made of magic with material just conjured up. No need for utilitarian design.

Not bad ideas. Have you some example of some crazy curvy architecture? It's interesting.

Well off the top of my head. The DARCO Arcology from the 2000 game Simcity 2000 is a good example.
