i cannot stand peyton and lucas together. i honestly don't really understand how at this point peyton can be viewed as a likeable person or character... but i am happy that for once brooke was given the opportunity to speak without the dialogue forcing us to feel bad for peyton. and you really voiced what i think which is that lucas does not view brooke as someone who needs help sometimes. he has such a giving nature but its like that instinct never clicks in when he is with brooke. like when she was calling him from the new york fashion show and didn't realise she was upset. whereas if it was peyton he would notice immediately. it's sad really when you notice all those little things. also, yes! sophia's acting this episode was heartbreaking and felt so real. i believe this was the season when sophia bush and cmm got divorced after he allegedly cheated on her with paris hilton on another movie set. sophia has said that the showrunners would take the actors personal lives and use them for storylines. not just for her and chad but for the others actors too. so
