I was wondering whether Vikings needed to raid to survive, I thought maybe their lands were less fertile so needed other things to trade but apparently it wasn't that black and white. They did it mostly for economical reasons but I guess a lot of their culture was about violence and bravery in battle. Bjorn's wife got that big scar in the last battle and I guess she never felt good enough again, so she left her husband AND baby, oof I feel your anger at Floki hahahah i was absolutely DONE with him after he killed Athelstan
