This Naley scene and the one last episode where they walk home together are one of my favourite moments. For me, the slow burn of Nathan and Haley trying to work things out this season is really satisfying. Especially when they result in moments like this. They have a lot of trust issues to overcome. And I agree it makes sense that Lucas would forgive quicker. He’s a hopeless romantic and had a really loving parent in Karen growing up. He wears his heart on his sleeve and believes in the good in people. I also find Nathan and Haley way more balanced now. Whilst they were okay in S1/S2 it didn’t feel totally real because Haley felt so perfect and Nathan the opposite up it wasn’t balanced. Now I can really feel their emotional connection. The actress who plays Haley was always good but has some good material to work with now and the character has a personality. Side note: really enjoying Brooke and Haley’s friendship this season so far.

Season 2 really gave Haley layers (I love this for her) and put Naley in the forefront. I always thought they were in the background in season 1 as Leyton was the "it" couple. Season 2 slowed them down and they are being fleshed out now. Their conversation on the roof with the purple flower really felt like a turning point for them. I too have enjoyed their moments in the last couple of episodes.
