To be honest, I think the show itself almost forgets what Jenna did to Toby. It's rarely treated with the sensitivity it deserves, which is a shame.

This was a great episode! Very important backstory information was provided, and gosh Alison was such a horrid person, no wonder she was getting weird messages/stalked. She had moments where she actually displayed compassion and humanity, but she was always super focused on controlling and manipulating everyone around her. Thank you for not cutting Jenna any slack. She despite maybe being nice to people around her she was manipulative as well, and like you said - a rapist! Poor Toby she put him through a lot. I thought Spencer in this time was so adorable and innocent, there was a stark contrast I think with the Spencer we see and know today. Great reaction! I look forward to the next episode.

Yeah I think all the girls changed a lot after the death of Alison. They couldn’t be their full selves with her around suffocating them and it wasn’t until she was out of their lives that they blossomed. They’re still not perfect because nobody is but all of them except for Aria in my opinion have been more honest with themselves.
