-You have to remember that Octavia's whole storyline is that she never fit among the Sky People, because they made her understand that she was never supposed to be born, they killed her mom, they locked her just because she exists and the only person in her world was Bellamy. Then she finds someone else that made her feel wanted (Lincoln) but before she learned to like him, when he was holding her in that cave, we can see that she was terrified of being locked and of being hurt. Lincoln taught her a little bit how to defend herself and that helped her a lot to find the strenght inside of her. We can also see that she admires the grounders a lot, because she felt like it was a place where she could fit in, but they made her understand that she wasn't strong enough to be accepted among them. Kane mentionned earlier in the episode "what doesn't kill them, make them stronger", so Octavia knew for sure that she was gonna get beat up, but it was her way of showing them that she can be strong too and take the pain, because that's what they respect and like I said she wants to be part of them, because she does not feel like she fits in her "own people". And that's also why when Kane said "you have to help your people", she looked at him like "yeah right, my people" and smiled before leaving him there lol 😉 -Yes, Murphy's dad was killed by the chancelor for stealing medecine to save Murphy who was sick, and then his mom blamed him for his dad's death and drank herself to death, the last words she said to him were "you killed your father". 😬(remember he told the story to Raven who responded by "boohoo" 😆) -Don't worry about the Lexa stuff, you'll learn more about all this eventually lol 😆

I really like how much kanes character has grown since the first season. Also, lexa being in charge will all be explained later on and will make more sense! Love your reactions to this show:)
