I think Scott had a good reason of not telling Derek his plan for Gerard. Derek and Peter still tried to kill Jackson after Derek said he would go with Scotts plan and try to help him not kill him.

I guess. But that was when there was seemingly no other option other than stopping Jackson. If Scott had a plan to take out Gerard I think Derek and Peter would’ve been up for that. Then they would’ve seen they didn’t need to go after Jackson. But Scott likes to do things his way. He got lucky this time😂
