Try to watch and absorb through the lens of the time, there's A LOT of commentary that can be made from an adult persoectuve, and through today's consciousness, but for the time this writing and set up was break through for "youth" and mainstream television. You can allow yourself a little to go along for the ride, because capturing that is a huge part of the following. I absolutely always love your commentary, don't change, you just might struggle a bit to really get out of the series if you're discounting the zeitgeist.
