One hell of an episode! Admittedly, they advertised this one as being far more offensive and inappropriate than it ended out being.. but it was still pretty.. ergh. Always so satisfying to see the Supes fighting in this, but they're smart to keep us waiting (and spend time building up the characters...) - MM is absolutely acting rash and idiotic, although naturally his motives are faaaairly fair in driving him to that (worth noting; his father was also killed by Vought, but he's implied back in S1/S2 to have suffered from something from overworking himself on a legal case against them IIRC; so that ontop of his Grandfather is one hell of a backstory). Also, Madelyn Stillwell (the woman Homelander's mirror mentions) was the head of Vought in S1; she was killed by him at the end of that, and then replaced by Edgar for S2
