He’s the bad guy compared to Skyler. He’s obviously not as bad as Gus, but in that marriage or that relationship with Skyler he is the one that ruined it in my opinion. She did nothing wrong. He did. They are in this mess because of his choices. Not hers

Yeah he’s very egotistical but that’s what makes him fun for people to watch I guess. He thinks he’s the hero “providing” for his family but he’s definitely the villain in his relationship with Skyler and an anti-hero at best in the show. His choices have led to where they all are and he refuses to admit that and so things get worse and worse because of his pride.
