OK but if A teenager (inexperienced driver) is driving late late late at night and doesn’t see a stop sign and just drives it turns at full speed straight on through then yes it is bad that Sherry’s didn’t report the stop sign falling. Like I understand what you’re saying how it was a T stop or whatever but if you’re like a 16 or17-year-old kid who just got their license whatever you might not know things like that I don’t know that’s just what I think

I think the accident has more to do with the old man than with the stop sign, because he was saying that he was talking on the phone with his wife, so he wasn't paying attention to the road and he probably didn't see Jeff's car turning at the intersection.

And I think that they choose this intersection on purpose (to make us doubt about the stop sign), otherwise they wouldn't have make the old man say that he was on the phone (to make us realise that it wasn't the stop sign or Jeff' fault, but it was because of the old man)
