One of my faves! Though I'd have much preferred the alt-universe to have lasted several episodes rather than just the two. (For that matter, given that half of each episode didn't even take place in that universe, it was basically just one episode.) The glimpse into it was nice, but I would've liked for things to breathe a little more rather than it be a blink-and-you'll-miss-it excursion. Unfortunately, that's something that happens pretty often on this show — they'll introduce interesting plots/characters/themes, only to drop those without exploring the full potential. For example, in my opinion the Dark Curse and Shattered Sight spell should've been way more ... MORE, Hook's transition from bad to good was abrupt and lacked foundation (plus the enemies-to-lovers speedrun he and Emma went on), Neal was taken out of play way too soon, the "Home Office" concept with Greg and Tamara never went anywhere, even the worst villains rarely have to face the consequences of their actions, etc. It's a real shame. But for sure that last scene was a heavy-hitter, the last shot especially — so simple, yet so effective!
