Hmm… I guess this was supposed to show that the Doctor was still brave in dire circumstances and while blind, but I never really felt like he was in actual danger and it all turned out not to be real anyway😂 I think it would’ve worked better if someone like BILL was the one in danger and figured out how to defeat the Monks. I don’t know, but I guess we’ll be seeing these dudes again.

We're into a bit of a weird arc with this one! Ambitious, but I'm not sure how well it all works.

Very weird story,.. it has a pretty nice concept (twist that everything's been fake in the episode is pretty good.) But the execution feels a little flat, alongside the constant cutting to Missy's execution. But hey, at least we finally know who is in The Vault! More Michelle Gomez is always a plus.

This was broadcast shortly after the Manchester Arena bombing & took on extra significance, it felt very raw at the time I specifically remember but I thought it was a really good episode to start the monks saga

I actually really like the whole simulation reveal of this story with The Doctor sending all the information about the Monks to his real self. Although, I don't get the whole blind thing since he could just travel in the Tardis and go somewhere in the future to remedy or fix the blindness issue even if it would be temporary. But I really liked the scenes with Bill and Nardole exploring different areas within the simulation before they realised that they weren't real. The Sern scene was very freaky. It's a weird story, quite trippy in places but I found it very engaging. Although the Missy stuff could have been handled better (the cuts felt very jarring in some places). I still really like this episode and the whole mystery aspect of the Veritas.
