Yeah that rain scene wasn’t a memory from a previous episode, it was made specifically for this episode ☺️ I love the scene with Damon letting Elena go, finally being selfless even when it comes to her. That is what love is for sure

We haven't seen the rain scene in the previous seasons, its basically a flash back :) Chris (Kai) and Ian did a parody of this kiss, it is a 33 seconds long video of this scene (without any spoilers) maybe you could react to this in the beginning of the next episode you do ? The rain kiss was never in the previous seasons it's a flashback that we have never seen before and damon thought bonnie had died that's why he was so surprised to see the bear

The Delena rain kiss is so adorable one of my favs of them. I love the way Damon hugs miss cuddles when he sees the bear and he says Bonnie your alive and smiles that just makes my heart melt ♥️

For years tvd fans had been begging for a delena rain kiss ever since that one scene of them in the rain back in s1 (they would trend it on Twitter constantly). Finally the writers gave the fans what they wanted and that’s why we now have this lovely scene! I also just absolutely adore the song that plays during it, it’s just so nostalgic.
