Tyler died after "crossing the line" reversed his vampirism. That's why he didn't come back as a hybrid. And he was "on the other side" because as the owner of the werewolf gene he is supernatural. The rest died as vampires. Though I don't understand how Damon and Elena managed to get to the bar before they became human again ... after all, Tyler ended quite quickly with a broken neck

I’m not gonna lie I bawled by eyes out at this ep. Elena’s reaction to Damon’s death is just so heartbreaking. But I have to say it really bothers me how NO ONE was worried about Bonnie literally deteriorating as she’s trying to save everyone’s asses??? Lexi was the only person to notice it, really? It just bothers me that Elena and Caroline seem to care more about Stefan and Damon than their longtime best friend, but whatever. Luke also annoyed me so much oh my god LET HER DO WHAT SHE NEEDS TO DO. I remember when this episode aired I was literally broken after watching it bc I was so upset at Damon dying lol. Imagine waiting months after that ending - it was torture. This finale is super emotional but I’m so excited for next season! It’s my second favourite season, I’m so pumped for you to watch it :)

Thanks for doing both episodes! This is one of my favorite episodes. Of course I hate Bonnie and Damon dying and the first time seeing it I cried my eyeballs out! Next season is one of my faves. Very interesting seeing how everyone deals with their deaths.

I do have to say while I appreciate Elena not wanting her boyfriend to go die alone I just think she shouldn’t have done that because she just made Bonnie weaker and maybe Lexi or Damon could’ve came back.

I’m so happy u liked the last scene of Damon and Bonnie and that it was your most favourite moment in this episode. That was really so sweet and despite their past being not so great together atleast they are not alone. Elena really makes us cry along with her Nina is such an amazing actor when she says pls come to me and Damon calling her baby that was so adorable 😭😭💔For the first time TVD ends On a white screen that was surprising. Poor Bonnie I love her so so much she ends up saving everyone everytime but not herself it’s just not fair. As much as I’m very happy Ric is back and we got Stefan, Tyler Enzo back No1 thought of how Bonnie will come back specially since she is the anchor. Atleast Caroline and Elena should have that’s very weird and I hate it. Lexi what a beautiful person this girl is and I think she found peace as we hear her saying your not going to get me and there was a white light when she went away she didn’t get sucked away like the others. I also loved Grams and Bonnie’s moment they had together that was so beautiful. She’s so proud of Bonnie and why shouldn’t she be she’s such a strong woman who’s always so selfless and puts others before her no matter how hurt she gets in the process. I can just go on and on about Bonnie 😁🙊 Anyways this was such a great reaction loved it I’m so so excited to watch S6 with you it’s my most favourite season of TVD 🤩

To me Damon was the most complex character I have ever watched on any show. 10 steps forward snd 5 steps back all the time. He had me screaming at the tv many times nooooooo don’t regress after how far you came. I could always see the pain in his eyes and see his reasons for what he did even tho I hated some of the things he did.. I know many people hate him but I will always adore him.
