Adult: A Poem i’m not sure men even exist in la. that would suggest some sort of adulting process and does anyone adult here? why would you in a town that discourages growth? where boys can stay boys forever, surfing blurry couch waves, asking you for head in dressing rooms, and waiting til your lips are wrapped around their cocks before informing you they’re already taken. where it’s perfectly ok to get full on detox tea instead of food. because if you add anymore inches you’re gonna start resembling a grown up and might have to start taking responsibility for...something. anything. everything. no. not. ever. not in this place. a place where there’s only one generation: generation now. generation remake. generation too busy. generation i don’t got a plan, but i got plans tomorrow, sorry can’t make it. generation don’t care why, it just feels good. generation too high to be bothered. generation too high to feel hurt. generation too high to feel anything. this is where you come to be stunted and stalled. where you come to party with Tina and chill with Jack. where you’d rather netflix & spill all over my chest instead of press your lips against mine. where you can’t commit to friday at 8 because you might find someone better before then. and where he might be more willing to feel nothing with you all night. just the way you like it. yeah. this is the place for you.
