You really did call it being Michael! I was shocked when I saw it I thought it was Leo on his own. It’s such a fucked up situation. But in terms of the whole story, everything dealt tied together. Mark’s storyline especially really touched me. The emotions portrayed are just so real, the dialogue too. I hope you watch another crime/detective show sometime in the future. I feel it’s a genre that’s not really reacted to although I understand because of the dark and heavy content. Back to the Michael and Leo situation, it is grooming but they are both equally responsible. Michael was weak I understand he’s 16 but you still have morals. Ahhh I still don’t know how to feel about it though it’s not something you expect when it comes to r*pe. But one things for sure is Lucas will carry his failings with his son with him forever. What a season. I’ll be interested to see how you feel about Chris Chibnall’s run on doctor who. Especially now you’ve seen Jodie’s performance in Broadchurch. I haven’t actually watched the full thing so it’ll be new for me too aha.

Such an amazing show, thanks so much for reacting to it!! Though I’m not sure what I’m gonna miss more, your reactions or your impressions of David Tennant’s heavy Scottish accent through this😂

Lol Sean Connery was my only reference for Scottish accents but now after hearing Tennant I’m convinced Connery wasn’t Scottish at all😂

The amazing Olivia Colman was in the amazing Peep Show! You should watch that show!

What a great journey. So glad to have shared it with you. This show is an absolute favorite with all of my actor friends and I think there's a very good reason for that, because all of the performances are just so compelling and masterful. Oliva Colman is a goddess and her, Helena and Gillian were a very special goddess collaborative in the latest season of The Crown. There can't be a season four because that's when we'd have to find out that Tom killed Danny and Joe took the fall. lol. I agree that the chemistry between Miller and Hardy is amazing, and it was so refreshing that they managed to have that great chemistry without the cliched sexual tension that always comes up in cop shows. I know your reaction schedule is full, but after this I can't help wanting to recommend shows for you particularly Sex Education (which has a couple of characters from this show pop up in supporting roles) and seems like would hit your sense of humor and drama just right, and also Good Omens, which is amazing goofy fantasy with the greatest love story leading to one of the best off screen bromances between David Tennant and Michael Sheen. I may have to drop my subscription for a couple of months, until you pick up some new stuff, or get to the Chibnall/Whittaker era on Who, (cause $), but I've really enjoyed this reaction and some of the others I've caught sporadically. In the meantime, I'll be sure to give love to your comments on other reactors pages. It's been a sad and beautiful blast!

Thanks so much for sharing your reactions to this show - certainly one of the best written and acted dramas of the last decade. As for the links with Doctor Who, I think there are at least 9 or 10 actors from Broadchurch who also appear in DW. Apart from the obvious ones (Tennant, Whitaker, Darvil) there are plenty of others who make an appearance (including Coleman), some of whom you'll see in future series, including Lenny Henry (Ed Barnet), Julie Hesmondhalg {Trish), and Shaun Dooley (Rick from S2). Keep up the great work. Your thoughts an opinions are always so insightful.
