The comment Kath made was just too far. Trish was very fucked up for what she did but she could’ve made a comeback that wasn’t about the r*pe. It’s both on two completely different levels. I really love what they’ve done with Beth and Mark. It’s sad but nice to see how they’re dealing with everything and how it’s torn them apart. They’re both on completely different stages of grief. Although I wish Paul and Maggie would stop laying it on thick and let them both be individuals first.

That was Tom's phone that he stole back after his mom took it away. I really feel for Daisy and young girls who deal with that kind of thing these days. When I was in high school I had a fleeting "wardrobe malfunction" during a rehearsal and although I did try to laugh it off, it was discussed and was mortifying. It was even referenced at an end of year banquet in front of faculty, and that was a less than five second nip slip witnessed by maybe a dozen people. I can't imagine how humiliating it would be to have a photo circulate. Women are conditioned to feel that their bodies will either be fetishized or criticized and so exposure is very hard to own. The way she said that the boys wouldn't leave her alone broke my heart. She probably feels like she'll not be able to find a boyfriend and know that he likes her for her and not her reputation. Let alone how nasty girls can be. I can guarantee some bitch probably started criticizing something about her appearance. That subplot and your comments about wanting her to own her own narrative reminded me of the show Sex Education which hits on several of those topics in varying ways (and also features Aaron the rapist as a happy go lucky band teacher which is highly unnerving.)
