I know I have not commented on your reactions to this show in a while, but I’ve still been enjoying them. I just don’t want to spoil anything, but I was really intrigued by the way this season ended so I wanted to express a few of my thoughts. I kind of hated Alice in this ep. Well, hate is a strong word, but I definitely understood the hate she gets as a character. I don’t think she’s anyone’s favorite. She’s whiny and sanctimonious, and in this ep she doesn’t do anything but get in the way and fuck things up, and it wasn’t in way that made me feel for her like I did for Julia in S1. She just really got on my nerves with how negatively she sees everything, especially magic, and thinks it should stay gone forever for everyone. She just reminded me of an alcoholic taking away everyone else right to drink because she can’t handle her liquor. I also didn’t like how she claimed to love Quentin but thought erasing her memories of him was the right call. Plus she is always so damn whiny. I didn’t bother me so much in S1, but by the end of this season it really bothered me. I think liked her best when she was a niffen. I’ll take Evil Alice over whiny Alice any day, and this is what made me really stop liking her and Quentin together. Two whiners do not make a good match. I like Quentin so much better when he’s with Eliot or Julia. I hope you don’t take too long of a break from this show. I think you will really like S4. I really did. But I haven’t seen season S5 yet. I just have this thing where I get scared to watch the final seasons of shows, because of the crushing disappointment and sadness I’ve experienced from most final season of shows that I have watched (and immense frustration when a show ends unexpectedly with a cliffhanger). I will get around to watching the final season eventually though. 🙂

I dunno personally Alice is my second favorite character after Penny. My least favorite is Quentin, though later on after this I enjoy him a bit more.
