Glad you enjoyed the episode. I love it. I think it's my favorite episode up until this point in the show. Anytime a show does a different reality or dream sequence episode, I love it. I just watched a reactor watch "Tall Tales", that silly episode with the trickster, and she had a really interesting description of them two. She said that ultimately they are the same, or at least have very similar wants and the things that drive them are the same, but their "day to day" personalities are very different and worlds apart, which is why they irritate each other so much and seem at odds. I like that description. We will definitely see extreme contrasts, and obviously the way they handle things is different, but for the most part I think that's accurate. Now for the finale (next two episodes), "All Hell Breaks Loose part one" and "All Hell Breaks Loose part two." Its a two-parter finale, as the titles suggest. Its best if you watch them together. If you're unable to it's understandable, but part two is a continuation of part one. Anywho I'm excited for the end of the season and moving on to season 3. See ya next time🤗

This is one of my favorite episodes and one of the saddest in a way for me. this is one of the few times we get to see dean just be happy and feel safe😭😭 I also think that the genie grants the wish, but the rest of the false reality is just whatever the victim thinks would happen if their wish came true. So dean thinks he and Sam wouldn’t really talk, that everyone they saved in real life would have died, etc. That might not have been what would actually have happened if their mom hadn’t died, but it’s what dean deep down thinks would happen.

hi, I'm a little late (a month late 😭) but I just wanted to correct you on something. at the beginning of the show, they were only apart for one year. (the only time they spent that long away from each other) sam was at college for a year and then john went missing and Dean went to get sam at Stanford! they BOTH started hunting with john ever since they were children, and they've always been very close. and always together except that one year they spent apart! so, sam spent his entire life hunting too. he just took a break for 1 year
