Love everything in this episode!!!

Lulu

Great episode! This is honestly one of my favs especially bc of that diner scene. It’s absolutely hilarious the way the three of them take equal jabs at each other. I also love seeing Nina play Katherine and Elena together bc it shows just how different they actually are. When Elena tries to imitate Katherine, it’s just so funny how OFF and inaccurate she is and yet when u think about it, it’s technically the same person? Nina is brilliant haha. I don’t know who told you that taking the cure won’t necessarily change her feelings about Damon? I don’t remember that but I just want to clarify that we obviously don’t know how the cure would affect her feelings. I feel like you tend to underestimate Caroline a lot. Every time Klaus tries something with her you say “oh, she’s gonna fall for it” or “she’s gonna believe him” and then she goes and proves you wrong. But we gotta give Caroline more credit!! She’s always on top of everything and never strays from her morals. We finally got to see Katherine again! I just always admire her cleverness - she is constantly 50 steps ahead of everyone, thinking of every possible outcome. She compels the town to forget her unless she’s speaking to them herself, she hides the cure in an extremely safe place then leads the gang on a path towards a fake cure that she planted in a convincingly suspicious place. As conniving and manipulative as she is, I just can’t help but love her. She’s so entertaining! We also got to see Elijah again ahhh I was so excited! He’s such a charming, classy man and I swoon every time. It’s interesting to see the relationship he’s built with Katherine and I LOVE that scene they have together near the end. What you said about how Katherine has a playfulness and a charm to her while Elena is just completely cold is SO spot on. I honestly cannot stand that last scene when she kills the waitress. I literally can’t watch it bc it makes me cringe; her lack of remorse just feels so wrong!

WOW ! Two episodes again, you really spoil us. Thank you !

I think Joseph Morgan made an absolute amazing performance there ! And Nina does such an amazing job with portraying both Elena and Katherine soo different and even when Elena tries to immitate Katherine Well Klaus can compel vampires to know if they want him.

Really appreciate the 2 episodes!! Thank you so much and great reactions as always:)

Your thoughts on klaus are very interesting. And the interaction between Elijah and elena compared to season 2/3 was nice to see. And I completely agree about the Damon and near-spoiler situation - if there was a specific way you were supposed to feel then the show would’ve tried to guide you there. Everyone has their own experience with shows that’s the fun part. I think some people tend to get ahead of themselves like you’re meant to know/feel something but don’t realise that’s because of their hindsight bias of having already experienced something for themselves.

Yeah the reason I always think Caroline is going to give in is because several people have used the term Klaroline and they love Klaroline so I assume that they get together at some point

This episode proves exactly why I adore Katherine as a villain more than Klaus, Julie Plec and the other writers of this show have this odd obsession with making terrible men & trying to get the viewers to fall for them by adding sprinkles of funny or charming moments. Katherine is also hilarious and alluring but the writers have no issue making it clear that you shouldn't trust her, and neither should the characters in the show. Every time this show introduces a male antagonist they try to teeter the line of being likeable and ruthless, but it just doesn’t go well, and to make matters worse they always try to find redemption through a nice lady…change starts from within- but people like the idea of love conquering all & being powerful enough to change how someone operates so they eat it up. Katherine gets her “love can change you” moment just like Damon & Klaus and does it better than them but for some odd reason viewers don’t eat it up like they do with the guys.

Love this episode. Literally all my favorite people were in it, Katherine, Rebekah, Elijah, Klaus, it was beautiful. 😂😂😂But mainly along with giving absolute praise to Nina Dobrev, who was incredible here, I have to give Joseph Morgan some love. Its so crazy to me because Joseph is so adorable and cute, and Klaus is this monster.🤯 I know it's acting, but he does an incredibly fantastic job at playing Klaus. "Silas....got inside my head." The way he delivered that line. Just sheer shock and fear. And the way his voice was quivering.😮 He's so good. I'm done now😂😂😂glad you enjoyed the episode. See ya next time.

I love your reactions. They are so genuine and it’s nice to your perspective on each character. People see and interpret each person differently and after watching so many people in love with Damon and Klaus. It’s nice to see someone who sees their actions and who they are differently. Keep it up ❤️❤️

I hate that your experience watching is influenced by people’s opinions on here. I almost wish you wouldn’t read the comments.
