This is such a good MOTW episode. Its so sad. It's like hauntingly beautiful and those are some of the best stories, which fortunately or unfortunately, Supernatural is really good at those haunting, beautifully heartbreaking, ironic storylines😭😭. But what you said about there maybe being multiple versions of us😂. I totally think about that all the time. Like maybe this is a simulation, and déjà vu moments are glitches. Or maybe there are multiple realities and we live the same moments as ourselves from a different reality. Or maybe we have doppelgangers and we sometimes live their moments and they live ours, which is why we feel like we've done certain things before..... Or maybe this is hell, and for whatever reason we're forced to literally "relive" this crappy world over and over as punishment 👀. I don't know. Not trying to get all weird 🤣. Just saying I think about that too. Sometimes too much. But anywho, I digress. Glad you enjoyed the episode, see ya next time.

(Seems like Patreon ate my comment the first time I posted, so I'm going to try this again. Apologies if this ends up being a double-post.) This is one of my favorite episodes, as well. It's not as appreciated as it should be, IMO, and I like that the tone of it is pretty understated. Knowing the twist really enhances the rewatch experience, too. You pick up on a lot of things that you may not have on the initial viewing — for instance, as you noted, Molly doesn't have a scratch on her after she crashes the car. That isn’t due to the show slipping up (or at least I don’t think it is…), but rather because she didn't actually get into a car crash when we see her, it was all a hallucination. She got injured later by Greeley, but only because he was a ghost just like her, and being tortured by him was easier than admitting the truth. I wonder if Greeley finally being vanquished is actually one of the reasons Molly accepted fairly quickly that she was dead and David had moved on. The excuse that Greeley was responsible for everything was gone, which ate away at her plausible deniability. The theme of the episode is also reminiscent of the vampire ones because of the way it changed the game. Just like the brothers had to acknowledge that not all vampires were evil, so too did they have to do that for ghosts. Sam is naturally more compassionate and accepted the vampire thing almost right away whereas Dean is more abrasive and resistant to the idea, so it makes sense that Dean would be resistant to this, too, despite all the evidence. Arguably the thing this show does best is how distinct it makes the brothers. While sometimes they switch roles a bit — in "Nightshifter," for example — they're always very clearly their own personalities, whereas a lot of shows I think don't have such a grasp on the characters. Anyway. This is a very long-winded way of saying I really enjoyed this episode and your reaction! 😄

Yeah Greeley being vanquished and Molly seeing him as a person for the first time helped her move on too I think. Her time spent with Sam and him helping her to see that Greeley had a wife that was left behind like she was left behind by David in a way helped her to see that Greeley wasn’t just a monster but a man who’s life was stolen and all that new perspective from Sam helped her to believe and realize that she was responsible for his death and for him being vengeful. So good🥺😄

I've always really liked this episode. It tells a really good story. It may not be action packed, ,or fast paced, but I really like it. It's one of those episodes that is fun to re-watch as you already know what's coming. There have been only a few people I know who caught on to the spin early on. Some never got it until the boys tell her. I know of one person who figured it out almost right away. Partly because of her lack of injuries. The actress is really good. She's been in other shows. The most recent I know about is the show Lucifer.
