Being human usa took some of the storylines from being human uk so both show are the same but with different ending after season 1 they have very different storyline when being human usa first aired being human uk was just about to season 3

So when being human uk first came out the first twilight movie had just come out so I think they where going for vampire from the old vampire movies and also vampire from Buffy with some new things like going out in the sun and the vampire in show can eat human food and they can try to stay off blood by going dry Mitchell is not at the hospital to get blood he just working there because he trying to be human. being human uk was going to be a drama about addiction
