I guess I know how Damon stans feel now. I love Rebekah so much so it sucks that you hate her so much lol. I'm the opposite. I don't like Elena but Rebekah is one of my faves along with Caroline, Bonnie, and Katherine.

What you were talking about was when Elena told Stefan that she kissed Damon “i don’t feel guilty that it happened, I feel guilty that you don’t know” and when she told Caroline that she was attracted to Damon. So she didn’t really say the word love even though it’s so obvious that she does. I do understand her, she loves them both she just has to figures out who does she loves more. Also even if Rose was turned by Kol or Elijah, Tyler is still turned by Klaus. What Rebekah said is one of my favorite quotes in the show “the Salvatores may fight like dogs but in the end of the day they would die for each other” it’s so true even if the brothers don’t know it, Stefan was so blinded by hate after he was free from Klaus but i think he’s 100% back to normal now, that’s why he realized that Elena was in love with Damon too. The rest of the season is crazy good I can’t wait for the next one. It’s best if you see the last two episodes together.

Caroline is awesome the way she forgives Alaric. I love Damon, but he got what he deserved from Rebekah. Rebekah is very naïve. The vampires don't mentally age, and she was about 16/17/18 when she turned and came from a far more innocent time. She hasn't been around for 90 years and is still catching up with the world around her. She's only just learning technology. She went under during the era of silent movies and came back to a world of Netflix and YouTube. She doesn't understand modern men. But she still has very old-fashioned ideas of love, both romantically and regarding family. She wants the relationship the Salvatore's have, with her family. I think she holds out in the hope that Klaus will mellow and be more like his old self before they turned. At the same time, she still holds out for the fairytale romance of her own without the interference of Klaus. The biggest clue about the scene with Elena saving Damon is he would never feed from her. He even made it clear in 2x8 when Stefan said he was feeding from Elena, Damon made it clear he found the idea gross. He has fed from her when he was hallucinating and thought she was Katherine, and he hated himself for it. For a change, they are now on the same side as the Originals as this will affect them too. Wherever the stake is, it needs to either be destroyed or taken from Alaric. It would also be useful to know which bloodline they belong to as they need to keep that Original alive. When Esther linked them, she knew she was going to destroy the entire vampire race. But knowing the show The Originals exists, tells you that she fails. It is kind of a huge spoiler. The implications from the information in this episode is so huge, it will impact the show The Originals. In relation to Elena's feelings for Damon, this conversation happened in 2x20 after Damon fed Elena his blood when Stefan took Elena for a walk; Stefan: “He shouldn't have done what he did. He did it because he loves you.” Elena: “But he did this to me, Stefan, which means he doesn't really know what love is. And to be honest, I don't know if I do. I'm seventeen years old. How am I supposed to know any of this yet? I know that I love you, Stefan. I know that. But my future? Our lives together? Those were things I was supposed to deal with as they came along. I was supposed to grow up.” It is clear that Elena has grown up a lot in S3, and has changed with it. Although she has never said she loves Damon, it is clear she has feelings for him. However, I suspect that her feelings for Damon are nothing like what she's felt for Stefan, and that is her benchmark for understanding love. Her feelings for Damon are completely different, which is what is confusing her. Damon is like a magnet to her. No matter what he has done, he draws her in, there is something about him she either doesn't understand, or maybe she puts it down to lust. Stefan and Elena were only together for 6 months in total, they have been split up for 6 months (this episode was set at the end of October). She loves Stefan, and wants things to go back to how they were, but whether she is in love with him the same way she was is questionable. I think she's in love with the relationship that they had, and wants that back. I don't think she's realised how much she has changed and that she can never have that version of the relationship back. Things like taking her to the top of the big wheel and kissing her, will no longer be enough to set her heart aflutter. Those innocent moments she had with Stefan won't make her feel like they used to as too much has happened since. I agree with you as I do think she loves Stefan more than Damon in some ways, but not in others. Matt knows where Elena's heart lies, even if she doesn't, because he knows her better than anyone else, including Bonnie, Caroline, and sometimes Elena herself. There is no way Bonnie is going to sacrifice her mum, Caroline and Tyler, just to save Elena. It is one step too far. Damon isn't the only vampire from their bloodline that Stefan cares about, he wouldn't kill an original for the sake of Caroline. She is pretty much his best friend. I'm going to agree with others about the last 2 episodes of the season needing to be watched back-to-back. In fact it works better with the last 3, but that's too much to ask. The S3 finale is one of the, if not the best season finale. It is a close run between that and another later season. The last 3 episodes are an emotional rollercoaster, which will make you laugh, cry and leave you dumbfounded. I hope you are prepared. Let's just say, there's a lot about this Episode that I just didn't like, at all, and what they're doing to Bonnie is criminal. To be honest, what they're doing to Stefan is also shitty.
