Time & time again, the Series seems to excel when it's NOT about the triangle. Romance is fine, but only when written well, sadly, the three-way is terrible. lol - Nonetheless, I happen to enjoy Sage, especially the Actor that plays Her, She just has this aura that's tough to resist. Being so old [900yrs] She doesn't fear the Originals - even under certain conditions, has the strength to get inside ones Head. This is something we've never seen before, it's exciting.

It's irrelevant at this point because they're divorced now, but fun fact, the actress that's playing Meredith (Tori DeVitto) was Paul Wesley's wife at the time. I'm not sure if thats why she got the role, but it's interesting. 🤷🏾‍♀️I don't know why it's slightly bizarre to watch couples act together. Like watching Nina and Ian, knowing that they were together at the time, so weird for some reason😂love it though.💕

Sorry Elena, but when it comes to feeding and controlling their blood-lust, Damon has the most control over it than any other vampire in the show. He chooses whether to feed from humans, blood-bags or animals, blood has no control over him. He is the vervain taste tester after all, and one of the reasons is because he can stop without a struggle. To me the Damon/Sage/Rebekah thing looks like an ad for L'Oreal hair colour. I think that every time I see a scene with those 3 together. 😂😂😂 Damon made a really good point with Stefan when he said “Live it, love it, own it, never be ashamed of who you are.” It is a fantastic piece of advice to anyone who feels insecure about something. He does occasionally have some sage words of advice (pun totally intended). If the woman hadn't have been fed on in the last episode, I'm not sure whether Stefan would have been able to be around Meredith as he was desperate for blood. He would have attacked her. I think it is a small victory for him but also a major step. I really don't like Abbie, I find her a very selfish character. She's been given the opportunity to learn how to be a vampire, not everyone gets that support (Stefan and Damon initially had nobody to help them). I find her to be quite a cowardly character who simply runs from her problems, leaving broken hearts in her wake. I don't respect people like that, especially when parents do it to their children. But I do get your comment about her personality being heightened, making her even more likely to run. Vampirism appears to have heightened a rather negative quality about her (which it can do). I think Damon expected Sage to double cross him, so he let her into his head and read some of what he was up to. I'm guessing as he was fighting it, he was able to keep her out of the important stuff. He wanted them to think all of the wood was gone so that they can spring a surprise attack. Smart move. I think the issue is that it is unclear as to whether it is just Ric's ring or whether it is because he has died a few times with it on. So far, Jeremy has only died once with it on and he's nowhere near Mystic Falls, so he's not a threat. He isn't a threat to council members and I'm sure he doesn't know anyone who is either a vampire or someone in a similar position to a council member. I don't think he's in too much danger from turning psycho from it at the moment. I think the ring has been affecting Ric for quite a while. When Damon killed him at the start of the season, they made it clear that the ring might be on the blink as it was taking him longer to come back to life. That was the entire purpose of having Damon kill Ric to highlight the problem. I'm not sure if the ring will make you go bad if you are not vulnerable. Isobel had just died and so had Jenna, meaning Ric was depressed and getting drunk. Whatever causes the ring to bring out his alter ego, I wouldn't be surprised if his depression had a helping hand in making him susceptible to it's darker side. Rebekah was quite mature in this episode in not getting revenge, although I do think she has fallen for Damon, but probably for the wrong reasons. This is one of those episodes where, despite not much happening, it really furthers the plot and is quite a good episode for it. It is plot heavy as opposed to romance heavy, which is a nice change. Great reaction. Looking forward to the next one. Take care. Stay safe, stay healthy. x

I think Elena was referring to more than just the bloodlust topic. She meant that because Damon does whatever he wants whenever he wants that he himself doesn’t have self-control. Doing what you please without regard for other people is also destructive

Rebekah didnt seem to upset that Damon betrayed her, maybe she matured? Roooooofl! 😂😂😂 I am laughing so hard 😂😂😂
